INTRODUCTION TO Faculty Of Law
Faculty of Law has a Bachelor in Law program, which steeped inlegal specialization disciplines. Law students are expected to transform knowledge and expertise in the professional world, able to open up employment opportunities for the community, being able to use foreign languages and technology through various cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of South Sumatra as well as various competent government and private institutions

MISSION
- Organizing Tridharma which consists of education, research and qualified community service in the field of law
- Managing the academic and non academic system services to all stakeholders members thoroughly
- Develop and make the existence of Faculty’s human, infrastructure, and funding resource effective
- Improving the governance system in accordance with the principles of service management standard (Good University Governance)
- To collaborate with other faculties around the country and abroad to strengthen the institutional system
OBJECTIVES
- Generate bachelors of lawwho understand the basics of the theory, the concept of law, and able to apply the theories and principles of law in dealing with legal issues in a professional manner
- Generate bachelors of law who have the basic skills of research for the development of legal science
- Generate bachelors of law who are able to (devote / carry out the dharma bakti practice in)the science of law towards society

The graduates of law students have prospects for a career as: Advocate, Lawyer or Legal Counsel or Legal Consultant, Police, Judges, Prosecutors, Civil Servants, Clerk, Legal and Human Staffs, Human Resources and Development Staffs in companies (HRD), Politicians, Academicians, Diplomats, Law Analysts, NGOs, Journalists, Management Personnel
