It is a faculty with 9 study programs which concerns on health specialization. Students of Health Faculty has to master the theory and practice it as well in practical session at Kader Bangsa Maternity Hospital.

Being one excellent Cadre Formation Public Health program in South Sumatra Province by the year 2019To Be Excellent Health Faculty in South Sumatera in 2019

Missions

The mission of Bachelor in Public Health in the process of conducting higher education as set out in Renstran and RENOP year 2014-2019 is to carry out Tridarma activities, consisting of:

  1. Carry out and develop excellent education in the field of Public Health
  2. Develop and disseminate knowledge and useful technology through research activities in the field of public health
  3. Implement community service activities in the field of public health
  4. To collaborate with both government and private institutions around the country and abroad to strengthen the implementation of Tridarma

Objectives
Based on the vision and mission stated above, strategic objectives to be achieved by Bachelor in Public Health Program of UKB Palembang in administering higher education are:

  1. Generate personnel of professional graduate with noble character and spirit in order to compete at national and international level
  2. Produces the outcome of science and technology works that are beneficial especially in the field of public health
  3. Make community service activities available to improve the welfare of society
  4. The establishment of cooperation between Bachelor in Public Health program with other institutions in order to strengthen governance studies

Graduate Competencies

  1. Able to master and communicate with the public, as well as conducting a situation analysis of public health problems and problem solving techniques
  2. Able to formulate priority public health problems and solutions as a basis of administrative decision-making and health policy
  3. Able to create and implement activities, as well as managing and developing health resources effectively under the conditions of specific locations
  4. Able to educate self-reliance in health care
  5. Able to master of public health nutrition
  6. Able to Master the concept of environmental health and future developments
